Dancing! Tuellerettes Revue

Hallie has been dancing this year at Tueller School of Dance. She was not so sure about dancing when we just talked about it but ever since her very first class she has absolutely loved it! She has had a busy Monday this year with school in the morning, speech after lunch, and dancing in the afternoon. Her revue was Saturday, May 15 at Logan High School. She had her rehearsal in the morning then her revue was in the evening where everybody got to come and watch what she has been working so hard on this year. It was lots of fun. She'll miss dancing this summer and can't wait to go back in the fall.

She wanted Steph to come over and comb her hair bright and early on Saturday morning for the rehearsal because according to Hallie, I don't 'decorate' her near as well as Steph does! Little stinker. I did do her make-up though :)

This is during the rehearsal, because there are no cameras allowed during the revue. The Tuellerettes are all business!

Here she is with her cute friend Chloe.

A lot has changed since she was 3! She did a little dance camp with my friendLacey's daughter who was a Vistaun for Sky View and she liked all the practices, but when it came to the final performance she was scared and stood and cried all through it. But not now! Now she came out when it was her turn to be introduced, did her pretty bow, blew us a kiss and pranced off the stage. She knew every dance very well and sang along to all the songs. She loves performing now. Can't believe the difference in a year!

Here's her tap costume. She had so much fun at the rehearsal and revue. I am really happy she enjoys it so much. I took dance most of my life and really enjoyed it.

What a little poser! This is right before the show started.

Here she is with her best friend Rylee. They are six months apart and are cute little friends.

Here she is with her cousins after the show. Thanks to everyone for coming and watching her! She loves her family so much.

Had to throw little Gunner in. Look at those thighs! So cute. He loves his tummy time! Oh and thanks to Aunt Melanie for watching him so we could enjoy the show start to finish!

Pre-school Graduation

We love Tiny Tot Tech! I can't believe the school year is almost done and she is a pre-school graduate! She graduated on May 11, 2010. It was raining and very cold, so her graduation was inside but still cute as ever! She was the loudest singer there and Ben, Steph and I knew all the songs too!

She loves her teacher Mrs. Hunter. She is so cute with the kids and teaches them a lot of things they need for kindergarten.

Here's Steph helping her with her hat . She had lots of support there from her grandma, grandpa and aunts and uncle.

She was a red crayon, although she wanted to be orange, but as Mrs. Hunter says, 'You get what you get and you don't throw a fit!'

Hallie's part was: And then came Christmas with all of it's fun, we were all excited for Santa to come! She did so good, we are so proud of her.

Here she is with her cute friend Hyrum. She made lots of good friends at pre-school and will miss them when she goes to kindergarten in the fall.

Smiling

We had Mother's Day at Steph's house this year and I forgot to take any pictures until everyone had gone but Hallie, Gunner and I. Tony had gone to work and Hallie was over playing with some friends. I looked over and Steph had put Gunner's hair in a ponytail to prove to me it's cute and that I should not cut it. But he was super happy that afternoon so I had to snap a picture of his adorable grins.

Playin Farm

Just though I'd post these cute pics of the kiddies playin with Gunner's farm together. Hallie is such a good big sister so far! I love how Gunner loves her so much, his eyes follow her all over the room when she comes in. They're so cute together!

Love these babies!

Gunner's Blessing Day

Gunner was blessed on April 11, 2010 by his Grandpa Doug. He was given the name Gunner Jensen Meier. There were 4 babies blessed in our ward that day, so sacrament meeting was quite packed. We had a little brunch thing at our house afterward. We have a ledge that separates the kitchen from the living room and we (Steph and I) finally got it and the top of my cabinets in the kitchen decorated in time for the blessing. It turned out really cute and I really like it. I'm doing an Americana theme for the kitchen.

His cute little blessing suit was made by his Great Aunt Melanie, who is an amazing seamstress. She made Hallie's adorable blessing dress for her and many, many pairs of pajamas and blankets and burp rags over the years. This was just what I was looking for for him to be blessed in, and quite convenient because this way he didn't need a Easter outfit. :)

Here is our little family and a shot of Hallie's cute Easter dress from Grandma Cathy. She was excited to wear it to Gunner's special day since conference was on Easter this year.

I think sometimes Tony forgets he is not in the Army anymore and he CAN smile in pictures sometimes. :) It was a great day, thanks to all our friends and family who came!
