Preston Rodeo! July 2010

Ready for another year of that Famous Preston Night Rodeo with Great Grandpa Jensen! (seems when I send the camera with dad, not many pictures get taken :) Grandpa loves the rodeo, so we will go as long as he is still willing to take us! This year, Tony, Hallie, Ben, Lauren, Steph, Kaden, Emily and Rachael all went with Grandpa. It poured rain that night for the first time in 20 years, but they still had a lot of fun. I'm so glad Hallie is old enough to get to go to the rodeo with Grandpa Jensen and now she'll remember it. I have such good memories of going with my siblings with Grandma and Grandpa to the carnival and the rodeo. We looked forward to it all summer! Hallie still loves cowgirls and horses so she has a great time.

And me and my little cowboy got to stay home and clean the house that night! I hope Grandpa can keep up the tradition a few more years at least so Gunner can go too!

Sitting up!

Here are a couple good pictures of Gunner sitting up all on his own! What a big boy! He looks so serious with his bink in his mouth!

The 5th of July

The 4th of July fell on a Sunday this year, so here are the kids ready for church on the actual fourth. We did Gunner's six month old pictures and Hallie's five year pictures in their fourth outfits and they turned our really cute.

And there you have pretty much all the pictures I got that day and no, none of them are the cutest! We did the usual on the fifth, went to the world's LONGEST PARADE EVER that famous Hyrum Parade, we had a cookout at Grandma Cathy's with the cousins after that and then to the fireworks that night. It was a fun day!

How does a boy make a Pink Bumbo cool?

Put on your shades and enjoy a game of ringtoss!

*The story of a the pink bumbo is actually quite frustrating to me...this spring there were no blue or green bumbos in this valley, but now everytime I go into Wal-Mart there they are, almost mocking me. Don't worry, my little man makes his pink bumbo cool! And it only got a couple months worth of use because he learned how to twist his way out of it pretty quick. So if anyone needs a practically brand new girl bumbo, I've got one!

BABY Boy

So the last time I posted this baby boy of mine was still just that-a BABY boy. Now he thinks he is a little man who does not need held and does not need anyones help doing anything. (Keep in mind we are only aproaching 8 months) I came across these pictures today while cleaning off the camera. Lookin back only a few months seems so long ago, when he was just getting the hang of his tummy and scooting. He's got a busy big sister to keep up with, which is why I think he learned to move a bit faster than Hallie did.

Such cuties! What on earth did we do with all of our time before they came along?? :)

Dancing! Tuellerettes Revue

Hallie has been dancing this year at Tueller School of Dance. She was not so sure about dancing when we just talked about it but ever since her very first class she has absolutely loved it! She has had a busy Monday this year with school in the morning, speech after lunch, and dancing in the afternoon. Her revue was Saturday, May 15 at Logan High School. She had her rehearsal in the morning then her revue was in the evening where everybody got to come and watch what she has been working so hard on this year. It was lots of fun. She'll miss dancing this summer and can't wait to go back in the fall.

She wanted Steph to come over and comb her hair bright and early on Saturday morning for the rehearsal because according to Hallie, I don't 'decorate' her near as well as Steph does! Little stinker. I did do her make-up though :)

This is during the rehearsal, because there are no cameras allowed during the revue. The Tuellerettes are all business!

Here she is with her cute friend Chloe.

A lot has changed since she was 3! She did a little dance camp with my friendLacey's daughter who was a Vistaun for Sky View and she liked all the practices, but when it came to the final performance she was scared and stood and cried all through it. But not now! Now she came out when it was her turn to be introduced, did her pretty bow, blew us a kiss and pranced off the stage. She knew every dance very well and sang along to all the songs. She loves performing now. Can't believe the difference in a year!

Here's her tap costume. She had so much fun at the rehearsal and revue. I am really happy she enjoys it so much. I took dance most of my life and really enjoyed it.

What a little poser! This is right before the show started.

Here she is with her best friend Rylee. They are six months apart and are cute little friends.

Here she is with her cousins after the show. Thanks to everyone for coming and watching her! She loves her family so much.

Had to throw little Gunner in. Look at those thighs! So cute. He loves his tummy time! Oh and thanks to Aunt Melanie for watching him so we could enjoy the show start to finish!
