A Much Needed Update!
Here is our sad attempt at getting a picture up of our new house! We are loving being here and are so happy with it. We love the big garage, the separate TV room and the neighborhood is really nice.
Hallie is loving pre-school! Here she is with the Thanksgiving crafts she made. She loves her new friends she has made and adores her teacher. We are very pleased with Jean Hunter, we have all gone to her and she is a really cute teacher.
We finally buckled down last weekend and got the bedrooms painted. Long story, when we moved in to this house, it had a really cute boy room and a really cute girl room. Of course, Hallie chose the boy room. It was navy blue and red, so really she could have kept it, but the other room was pink walls with purple curtains. Not so good for a baby boy. Hallie's very favorite color in the whole wide world is orange, so once she found out we were painting the baby's room, she asked if she could have her room orange. I had to talk her in to the pink, but she finally gave in and let us do both. It was a loooong two days, but we are really happy with the results. Hallie just loves it! Steph helped us out a ton. Here are the before and afters.
Isn't baby boy's pink room so cute? Here we are beginning the whole weekend of fun, fun, fun. NOT! Painting is NO fun.
Still taped, but you get the idea. Once we get all the junk out of the baby's rooom and get it all set up, I'll take better pictures of both rooms. Baby's room is a light green and light blue, I love how it turned out. Hallie's is a little bright, but she loves it and it actually looks pretty cute.
Yes, Halloween was a month ago, but better late than never, right? Hallie of course was a cowgirl this year. It took us a lot of convincing to tell her that she was indeed a cowgirl and not a cowboy. :) Here she is with her cousins, Tyler was the Grim Reaper, Emily a vampire, Jake a jailbird, Rach a vampire, Adam a skeleton and Kaden was a grumpy teenager. :) Below she is trick or treating with her good friend Riley. We had a fun Halloween.
And now we are finally caught up! Today we had a good time at dinner with my sisters and brother and mom and dad and all the cousins at dinner. I didn't get many pictures, but after dinner we had our first annual Gingerbread House competition! The teams were Adam and Tyler, Hallie and Rachael, Emily and Jessica and Stephanie (with a little help from Kevin). They all worked hard and when they were done everybody voted and the winner was.....Hallie and Rachael! Mom had to scramble around the house when the girls asked, what is out prize?. Haha, but she came up with prizes that they were very happy with and then of course, everybody else needed a prize too. :) It was a good Thanksgiving. I am thankful for my family and the fun times we have together. I'm thankful for my little immediate fam, my husband and daughter and new baby we are anxiously awaiting! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

SOLD
We bought a house! We closed this past Monday, September 21 and got the keys on Wednesday. (Long story there.) It was a quick process, I was driving around one day with my mom and Hallie, we saw the house, grabbed an info sheet, made an appointment for the next day, saw it, loved it, offered on a Thursday and we were under contract on Monday! It is just our size, big enough to welcome one more baby and very nice. Hallie is very excited about her new room! It's right next to Woodruff Elementary, which will be good for us next year. Pictures to come! We are moving and everything is in a mess right now. :)

Four Year Old Pictures
Hallie had her 4 year old pictures taken last week! We went out to a farm in Paradise, since this year Hallie has been really into the cowgirl motif. She's got the boots, belt, belt buckle and of course, hat. We went to Vickie White's farm, she works with Steph, and I love love love how they turned out! They are so Hallie right now and now we can always remember what a cute little four year old cowgirl she was! Only problem is she has a very 'forced' smile right now. It's cute, but very obviously forced. Oh well. That's how she smiled at this age, and now we captured it. :)
This is the one Grandma Cathy wants for her 5X7. I'm not crazy about the red on red, but I do like that her smile is the most 'natural'.
Love the sepia color and that old wheel barrow looks so 'cowgirl'! Hallie didn't like walking through the weeds, she would tiptoe and say "Pokeys, no pokeys."
She's a sarcastic little thing! We asked her to show us how old she is and this is what she came up with. Little bugger.
She got a little sick of it near the end, and in this one was complaining that the sun was in her eyes. Problem solved! So cute.
This is the same one from up above, but in color. It's my favorite I think. Thanks so much for letting us use your farm, Vickie! I love how they turned out.
Here are the crazy cousins on Labor Day at Grandma Cathy's, for once all enjoying SHARING a turn on the trampoline. A bunch of cuties!
And for those of you who haven't heard via Facebook, ;) the little bun we have cookin is a BOY! We are so excited to meet him, and Hallie could not be more thrilled for a baby brother. We can't wait for Feb. 13, 2010!

Hallie's 4th Birthday Party!
Hallie had a great 4th birthday. We all went to lunch at Firehouse with Grandma Cathy and Steph, where she got free dessert and opened her fun guitar from mom and dad! Then later she had a Mickey Mouse Club House part with aunts, uncles and grandmas and grandpas. Steph made her cute Mickey cake that she loved. She kept walking over to it and saying, 'Hi Mickey'. So cute. Her favorite thing she got was from Great Grandma and Grandpa Jensen, it was a little puppy that walks and barks, she named him Barkey. She is so excited about him! She had a really, really fun day! Thanks to everyone for coming and for the gifts!
Happy 4th Birthday Hallie!
I couldn't for the life of me get these pictures in order! Hallie is 4 years old today! I can't believe how time flies. Seems like only yesterday she was tiny and wearing itty bitty pajamas. She has been such a fun addition to our lives. We just love her! Happy Birthday, baby girl! Hope you have a fun year ahead. We love you so much! :)
First Day of Pre-School!
Here is our little cutie at her very first day of Tiny Tot Tech! This is the same pre school that me, Ben and Stephanie, along with all of Jessica's kids except Tyler, went to. Hallie is so, so, so excited to be in pre school! She had a wonderful time, and just can't wait to go back! Since her birthday was the day after the first day of school, she gets to take treats on Wednesday for her and her friends. She is so excited. I can't believe my baby is in pre school! Where does the time go?
Birthday Carnival
In our ward, we had 5 of 8 Sunbeams all turned 4 in August, so all of the moms got together and decided to have a little combined birthday party/carnival, which eventually turned into a primary activity! There were probably about 60 kids there! It was crazy, but a lot of fun. Each kid had a ride named after them, Hallie's was 'Hallie's Outlaw Express" and we had our daddy dress in his overalls and give the kids rides on the fourwheeler and trailor. It was a big hit! It was just like a real carnival with a face painter, fortune teller, bounce house, carousel, cotton candy and all the other great carnival food. All the kids had such a good time. Hallie invited cousins Rachael, Adam and Emily (who ended up kinda babysitting, thanks Em!) and had the time of her life! It was a lot of fun and a great turnout! Thanks to everybody who helped.
